Don’t shred it – Edit!

Dispel any editing myths you may have heard because we’re here with all the editing knowledge you need!

This post couldn’t be complete without mentioning we do editing of all varieties!

We’d be happy to offer a free test edit to test our compatibility. Send us 5k words or 5-10 pages and we’ll send you a list of interesting stats for you!

This leads us to our first fact about Editing.

Editing is both scary and necessary – not every editor works with every writer. It can be a painful process

Luckily, we compiled a few free resources to give you a leading edge over the average edit.

First: The Hemingway Editor https://hemingwayapp.com/

We use Hemingway App *ALL THE TIME*. It’s SO useful for small or large edits. We can’t recommend it enough. Simply, cut and paste your writings and learn where your writing needs improvement. Our only complaint is the heavy emphasis on marking ‘weak’ or passive voice in writings.

Microsoft word Memes

Grammarly is a great resource too https://app.grammarly.com/

as it works in the programs you’re in to write. Of course, they have a paid version and you’ll learn that through the numerous emails they send. Our only complaint is the icon appears at the corner of all your writings. It’s easy to accidentally click and often causes distraction, but that is minor compared to all they offer for free. Plus, it can be turned off if needed

If those don’t do it for you – there’s more! Here’s a quick list of the best we’ve used
