Entropy – education in chaos

For those who are interested – entropy is essentially chaos and disorder.
The science is interesting. Its a measurement of a system’s unavailable or useless parts.
Functionality happens in organization- entropy happens outside of that.
The entropy of an object is a measure of the amount of energy which is unavailable to do work.

The symbol for Entropy is an S – it is used in chemist equations.
Entropy is also a measure of the number of possible arrangements the atoms in a system can have.
In this sense, entropy is a measure of uncertainty or randomness.

Entropy is a measure of the energy dispersal in the system.
Evidence suggests that entropy is the “easy” route.
Entropy is everywhere.
A scientific example of entropy would be a campfire. The burned items are no longer useful or functional. The fire still exists but it is not controlled.

Children are also a perfect example as well.
Have you ever tried to argue with a tiny determined human?
I have.
It renders you useless and can often bring forth an existential crisis.
Somehow you’re wrong even before you start.
Suddenly, nothing makes sense. Usually something starts on fire. Also, everything is slimy and you don’t really want to know why.

That is entropy
